About Us

Dr Matrié van Niekerk is a Practising Counselling psychologist in South Africa since 1992. Starting out as a Social worker in Pretoria she soon found that her passion is working with others especially focusing on their emotional wellbeing. She has her own Private Practice in Pretoria and is registered with the Counsel of Psychology as well as the HPCSA. She is also a member of the Milton H Erickson institute of South Africa (MEISA). Matrié is also part of the Pain team under auspices of Dr Christa Visser Rheumatologist at the Meulmed hospital. 

To learn about new techniques and innovative treatments, we take part in Continuing Education modules on a regular basis.
